Where Creativity Meets Innovation 		Which antivirus software is the best that also has a firewall feature as well?

I need one to use on my personal computer at home.

90% of constipated ppl dont give a shit 		Well in My opinion, Kaspersky Antirus is a very effective software however i was looking at a reveiw  and here is what i got for the five best Antivirus for 2008-2009

Well Frass....Kaspersky is very good. I have had the opportunity it. I have used even the commercial version. One thing to note is that a lot of these different softwares have sister companies. Kaspersky for example...Their engine is used in many good antiviruses. BitDefender, E-Scan, both use the engine from Kaspersky to detect malware and other malicious code.

However BitDefender has a slightly higher detection rate and is cheaper...This is a big issue to consider if you really are looking at pros and cons. Findout for yourself

BitDefender is rated the #1 and its the best to me. and if you are looking for one that is quick and efficient you can use NOD32, the only downfall is it doesnt have a firewall but its just as good as bitDefender

why not use linux (ubuntu) and run windows in a VM like virtualbox or vmware.
all these problems seem to be unique to windows users.  :squi:

If you must used windows i would suggest zonealarm Internet suite.

Where Creativity Meets Innovation 		I use ubuntu at home but at work its windows plus sometimes I might take home some work to do at home so I still have to use windows.

Some other applications that I use mostly run on windows as well so its difficult to change and not use windows. I do consulting as well and windows is the OS that these companies uses.

How do I convince these people to switch? Especially when they are so into windows.

Free software mi say, AVG Free. As much as how this software is free it is good. Most anti virus software now-a-days takes up too much resources which i don't have in my PC
